BELT FILTER PRESS BFP P with predewatering equipment
BFP P has been equipped with separate predewatering unit which makes the press able to dewater very low concentration sludge. Infeed concentration
can varies from 1 % to 8 % dry solid. Using the double predewatering units infeed concentration can be even 0,3 % dry solids.
This allows sludge to be pumped directly from secondary settling or aeration to BFP P press. That means the conventional sludge thickening tank is not necessary.
